176: Pavel Stuchlik | If We’re Not All Winning, Nobody’s Winning

Resources:

Pavel Stuchlik went from growing up in communist Czechoslovakia to having a career as a professional cyclist, owning Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt and Orange Theory franchises and being an international DJ. For him, the why is more important than what he’s doing. His mission with music is to unify people through the frequency of love. In business he came to realize that if his employees were unhappy, unfulfilled and weren’t making enough to meet their needs, that wasn’t making him a greater person, even if he was making great money.

In This Conversation We Cover:

  • [5:59] Pavel’s upbringing in the former Czechoslovakia
  • [8:43] How he sold carbon bike parts to fulfil his dream of becoming a professional cyclist
  • [15:10] How one of the biggest lessons he has learned is to ask what is the driving force behind anything he does
  • [22:48] Why once a year he spends 10 days in complete darkness with no food
  • [25:29] Why DJing for him is about alchemy, mediation and unifying people with the frequency of love
  • [40:59] What he teaches his children
  • [44:53] How his business mission has evolved from trying to make the most profit to being profitable while paying people enough to meet their needs
