Crystal Dilworth spends her life living in two worlds you don’t typically see come together, science and dance. To her credit, she’s doing both at a high level. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Caltech where she studied the molecular basis of nicotine dependence and has been the host of TV’s VOA-Tek on Voice of America, and CBS’s “Dr. Brain.” Before all that, she was a professional modern dancer trained at the Ailey School in New York City.
We talk about the intersection and balance between these two passions, the interest of understanding why people act the way they do, and a scientist’s opinion on all of the conflicting information we are seeing shared everywhere.
